Chicks, Chips & Boats

Holy chit!

Holy crap Wayne!!! Glad you are safe and home. How crazy is all that chit? :willy_nilly::willy_nilly:

Made for a crazy week. I let the women from the mini van use my cell to call her husband. I've thought about back dialing the number to see how her and the girls are doing, but decided not to. I was concerned about the youngest girl (7-8 yrs old) She was scared and her neck and back were hurting her. Didn't want to move her, but there was a strong oder of gas and even though I killed the ignition I was worried about leaving her in the van. We very gingerly eased her out of her seat still in her seated position and got her stabilized in a guys lap that had stopped to help so that he could support her neck until the EMTs arrived.

I was surprised they didn't have more helicopter footage from the Ohio crash. There was about 70 trucks and 200 plus cars that were snarled up in that mess. They figured the road would be closed 6-8 hours both ways while they investigated and the hazmat clean up took place. Once they got all the cars turned around and out of the way, the trucks were able to get turned and out.

It was a beautiful night out on the lake!!! 3 of us went up the Chagrin River and had dinner at Trader Jack's, headed back right around 9:10PM with just enough daylight left to get us back to our port area. It was sooooooo nice, flat and warm on the water we rafted on the lake until 12:30 this morning.

What a great evening.

You try'n to make me jealous?
It's work'n:biggrinjester:

We take advantages of nights like that because yesterday she threw 3 to 5's with a few bigger ones in there just for fun the entire day.

No wind this morning, beautiful blue skies. Rob should be home soon then we can head out on the boat and spend the day in the sun.

Yesterday was a dinghy day, which I enjoy also!

We stayed home last night which was great. The weekends are so hectic, packed and long days that Monday nights after work have become my lets-stay-at-home-and-relax-night.

We cooked Delmonicos on the grill, had corn on the cob and Rob made a tomato and onion salad, then we watched "Taken" with Liam Nissen. Wow, many times I found myself holding my breath during that movie. Really good.

Tonight we're heading to Skramer's place as it's his 40th BD today. We are having sushi and wings, I'm bringing a dip, some wine. It's going to be a nice night with good friends.
