Last night was Bob Evans Farm Favorite Chicken Sandwich...better than I had expected
A tender, marinated chicken breast with Swiss cheese, roasted portabella mushrooms and fresh baby spinach on hand-cut artisan Ciabatta bread. Platter with fries and coleslaw.

Spent almost all day yesterday getting ready for the blizzard they are predicting. Now just have to finish up today. Supposed to go from 50 degrees to 18 degrees and 5 to 8 inches of snow in 12 hours with strong winds......

I made pasta with sauteed shrimp and a roasted red pepper alfredo sauce. Freaking outstanding.

I need to get my shovel out finally. We will only get 2-4 of that, but it will be cold enough to have to shovel it. Bummer. Winter finally showed up. But we had a good run.

My sister Mel had the family over last night to laugh and remember Maxx. His Mom is in Ft.Meyers right now..
Mel is going to become a Gigi (Great Grandma) this summer, and we learned the sex of the baby yesterday, too. It's a BOY!!
So, I took several photo albums with me and we had soooo many laughs looking at the pix from the 70's. Mel and Jeff married in 73 at the age of 17, and he looked exactly like Mike Nesbitt from the Monkees, including the beanie..
Good times....
