Hey Steve you certainly know what you are doing.Great thread.

Any chance I could get you to explain in a little more detail how the process works with mateing the hull and deck .

Steve ,how are you my friend ? Steve , i notice that you mentioned Shell Epoxy Which i have been using for years and Skater has also , i just love the ability to do a job with sufficient work time along with pot life when using Shell resin and i can almost bet that it was a very useful product when building boats in Dubi .

I am fine Artie in the ME ,Ashland was hooked up with the Saudies (SIR) Saudi industrial resins and Reichold of course ,My shop in Kuwait there was a guy 2 blocks away with a 12 drum reactor and I got a nice Vinylester from him he used a Chinese Epoxy as it's backbone so to say.

During Iraqi occupation they dismantled the only resin plant there at the time and took it with every every screw back to Iraq, was a neat deal in those days very modern and they had 500 gallon Stainless Tanks they put out to the companies, they use a lot of resin there.

The Shell I have used it here before on a panel Job I did and some parts at Jaguar, nice stuff there was a company down here in those days GLS Who stocked it

Steve ever see this before?

I am waiting on my finial Pictures for this thread and writing up the intro for the Cat thread. Sorry for the delay here.

Have a few more pictures here to fill in some holes until I get the last 50 to finish this thread.

I Beams are in place here under the shadow of the eventual T-4 , I just use cheap white latex wall paint in the top flange it holds my layout very well. Nothing is more important at this stage than the base that will support all this work to be 100% level and true and Strong!

Frames are in place thanks to a good center line and we always notch the keel in to lock the frames in place.

Here is a trick cutting along the Chine a wormdrive skill saw has the right blade speed for this foam it will not smear the blade then load and kick back, I use a Batten as the guide and the angle error as the sides go in I just hold the saw horizontal a tiny bit.
