All that work/attention to detail, millions of dollars, and then it all came to a stop because of the Apache rights.

Steve, do you know why Thad did'nt just keep going and market the boat under a different name?

I look forward to reading the Cheetah thread when you have the time.

More Fairing going on here, SP Made Awlfair for the Awlgrip people in those days so I had common source.

With the Lawsuits and beating he was getting personally on the Boating sites He dropped out of sight. Speaking for myself I am glad to have worked for him and have nothing but respect for his family. He pulled me off to the side in the middle of this and said we would do a 500 K one off boat in the future.

Thad if you are reading this have Pepe pull a 41 for you to play in. Best Regards Boss from myself and family.

And thank you for taking the time to read this.

Its hard to see in these CAD shots, but this boat had a very unique and innovative mating flange that Steve 1 design specifically for this boat - it saved a few days of work and made it a seamless joint! I hope i am saying it correctly, but the process was so innovative that most builders don't understand it.

This boat was all about cool...:USA:

Do you guys have a cross section of the joint?

BTW, love the graphics in post 293.

Inspite of the naysayers in the past, I know most of us hoped it would be a success and could'nt wait to see one in person.

It is in very good hands now with Pantera and it is amazing how things work out in the end. I need a few missing pictures to fill in blanks and I will make some calls tomorrow.

LOTO Steve in the Cat thread I will go into that Hull/Deck detail Our gunboats in the ME were Falcons (Arabs like those birds) and I did a lot of cool stuff there as well.
