One thing I dont like is the time allowed for the opposing party to create a real rebuttal of the speech.

The governor said nothing that hasnt been said by both parties 100 times.

Its not a true rebuttal whoever is making it REP or DEM.

While I agree the Governor didn't break any new ground with his rebuttal neither did the President with his overly long State of the Union Address... It's just more of the same. Yes it would be nice to have the time to thoroughly dissect the Address but an immediate response is always required.

Actually I enjoy watching the British House of Commons Prime Minister's Questions, but our form of government doesn't allow this type of back and forth bantering... Personally without his trusty Teleprompter our president wouldn't come across as polished as he does when he's using it and would resemble the last president's speaking prowess.
