Great idea, anyone have a link to where to send them.

I guess you could get with your local Blue Star Mothers club or something like that.

DO NOT send mail anywhere that is addressed "Any Soldier" or "Recovering Serviceman". The postal service will not deliver it and if it slips through, no military facility will accept or deliver it.

You can send it here-

They have a program through official channels that pre-screens the mail to ensure nothing harmful or inappropriate gets through. Unfortunately we live in a world that has some not-so-nice people in it- people that have agendas and may not wish our servicemen well. This program protects them while allowing well-wishers the opportunity to get mail to a serviceman.

P.S. you must mail by Dec 10th to ensure delivery

Sorry, Here it is :

Holiday Mail for Heroes
P.O. Box 5456
Capitol Heights, MD. 20791-5456

All cards must be postmarked no later than Dec. 10. Cards should not be mailed or delivered to Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
