Watching Randy/Lance and Larry/Brock was simply awesome!!!!
These two boats were on top of their game!
This kind of water tests the teams in every way possible.
I would like to congratulate Bob M and his team on the win. It was a fantastic weekend.
I also would like to congratulate Brock Gratton for his outstanding performance. Not many can hang with the Anaconda.
And lastly, I want to recognize Larry " Anaconda" Fontecha. IMO, the best of the best!!!
He is the toughest guy I know. On Sunday, Brock and Larry had a 33 seconds lead on Time Bandit with one lap to go, They took a real bad hit on Larry's side that compressed his back in such a way that most would have pulled off the course. They managed to finish 9 seconds behind Time Bandit and lost the overall by 3 seconds. It was the most exciting finish of the week. Time Bandit passed Larry and Brock on the last turn on the inside.
Again, Congratulations go to Bob and Time Bandit.

Larry is resting comfortably at home and we expect to have him up and around in a couple of weeks.

I think he said the rear camera was on stills, and the front camera got knocked loose. I hope there is some footage from that front cam. Even if it's flopping all over the place....
Those rear facing cam stills are kinda cool. I can't believe how clear and focused the shots are....
Too bad Randy broke. That would have been one hell of a three-way finish.....

So Willy, not a broken back....right? What did the Dr say caused his pain?
I wish someone got a photo of that little flat nose boat that we used the set the course. Holy ****, on Friday, it was so rough, I've never been that miserable on a boat before...and my phone was in my pocket and got soaked with salt water. Ugh. Sunday we learned a few things and it was a better ride, at least we brough rain gear.

I was on the phone with Pete when he was hollering at you to have fun as you were on your way out Sunday. He told me what condition you were in Friday after setting the buoys. He was also telling me how this time you had at least improved to where you had life jackets on.....
