BAMM!

Mornin Ho's !:seeya:

50% Chance of rain...I better get to paintin' as soon as the sun comes up....it's all about the billable hours.....

A company that owes me about 60 hours called and asked me if I could help them with some block work this Am....

Hi Ho's! Trying to find the gas leak in my Mercedes 420SEL. Decided to sell it and can't have it smelling like gasoline.

Brothers birthday and parents wedding anniversary tomorrow, so I'm taking them out tonight. Letting my brother pick any place he wants. Should be fun. Picked a steakhouse restaurant chain, about one step up from Outback.

Yep the gas tank is in the trunk. Going to replace gas cap. Nice thing about Mercedes is they have a classic parts division stocked with parts for every Mercedes made. Think its in Irvine California.

Hi Ho's! Watching Fox News, looks like a terror plot was foiled in Canada. The terrorists wanted to blow up a commuter train between Toronto and New York city. Good thing the police on both sides of the border stopped it before it happened!

I have had good luck getting Mercedes and Porsche model-specific stuff from these guys.
Performance Parts and Accessories for Mercedes and Porsche

$7.99 thanks, I've seen them before in magazine ads but never ordered until now.

I believe that is Simon LeGreed's territory ....or perhaps Savoir Faire (he according to Klondike Cat) is everywhere.

Picked up a thrown away air compressor today...cleaned up the wire terminals and it works fine...6 gallon double tank, very little rust...with 20' of hose....sounds like a mufflerless chain saw though...never did fill up all of the way...I was afraid that the safety valve wasn't working properly...I'll take it out to the shop and let it run, or blow up safely between two concrete barriers ..:03:

Air compressors don't "blow up"
I've just shot selftapping screws into a rust hole and gotten a few more years out of them.
No worries.

Bullchit they don't.... I saw one blow at a cabinet shop, destroyed the shed it was in behind the shop, buckled a cinderblock wall... I dont know how high the compressor head went but it put a pretty good divit in the middle of the street where it landed, 5 BUILDINGS DOWN

They should have used Teflon tape on the self tapping screws;)

Seriously, to blow one it has to be pretty phucked.
Or, the regulator was phucked before kicking the release.
I have a 45 yr old compressor in my garage that has been hooked up for two years (with a screw in the tank), and it cycles twice a day. I always have shop air.
