Official... raise your post count thread!!

$230 today for 2# of r-22 in the AC of my rental house back in Kentucky - pretty reasonable.
$2000 next week to have the dirt road semi-paved. It'll still be a dirt rd, but more like the rd getting tarred in Cool hand Luke.
Not bad for about 500-600 ft single lane.

My 2k is only 1/4 of the total.
I have two neighbors that are splitting the cost.
One neighbor owns two lots (only one has a house), so he's in 50%.

John has seen it, he'd understand.;)

Mornin Ho's !:seeya:

88 today....

Somebody called me and texted me @ 3 AM this morning.:dupe:...so I've been up ever since....I don't know who it is yet (new phone) but they need a fence repaired...:reddevil:.

NOOOOO. Don't pave the driveway.
It will only bring more Jehovah's Witnesses, but still no pizza.

It's not really paving like asphalt. It's more of a "spray down tar and throw small rocks on it".

It doesn't rain very often, but when it does, the rd gets ruts and washouts. My neighbor to the West has a huge end-loader and he always re-grades it.

The county doesn't really consider our road a "road". More like a shared driveway. So, they provide no maintenance, just take taxes...

Paycheck did not come in the mail today:huh:

If it doesn't come tomorrow, it looks like it might be a Busch Light weekend !!!!!!

Hi Ho's! Have to run into Vancouver. Bringing my Mom for the commuter lanes. She can visit my great aunt while I'm doing stuff. I'm thinking about putting down oil on my driveway, its dirt and pretty darn long. Paving would be about $20K. Just want to keep the dust down.

That's one of the reasons we're doing it.
Guy is gonna do two layers of tar/pebble.
Total of 8K for I'd say 6-700'. Sounds pretty reasonable to me - especially since my portion is only 2K.
I'm not doing my actual driveway(s) (John, the area where you parked, or the "donut" around the Palm in front).

Hi Ho's! Took my Mom into Vancouver, so Id have her for the commuter lane and she could visit my great aunt. Ended up in Richmond next door to Vancouver, with a 70% Asian population it has some good restaurants. I chose a Japanese restaurant with all you can eat sushi. They had limits on items and other rules, made me wish I chose another place. Food was o.k. but my usual all you can eat is much better.

Had Subway today. They couldn't take debit or credit system was down. Took money out from the bank next door. I hit the $100 option. Forgot why I don't like cash until I got the money. Hate Canada's plastic $20!
