We went from a Powerquest to a boat fill full of air. Man we have had some fun with it. No idea how many miles we have put on it. Miss the PQ once in a while. Nice to have the fiberglass boat for back up. We have been more places with the RIB then in the PQ for almost 10 years.

The last year we had the PQ we were in Suttons Bay marina down the road. A storm like last night hit. Not cool. Heidi finally got up and went under the pavilion with some other people. I stayed with the boat. Not cool bouncing around in the middle of the night. It took me a couple days before I could walk a straight line.

We wiped the 2016 Miami boat show completely out of beers and he walked ok. Even avoiding Pee River coming from the toilet trailers. Don't sell him short.

I was in 12 footers in a 26 foot cruiser once when a storm popped up on Lake Erie. The problem wasn't so much the 12 footers as the 10 foot intervals between waves. If the engine had died we would have gone down. In the same storm, I know a guy who ran aground in what is usually 14 feet of water. Bent his running gear (inboards) when the lake picked him up and dropped him in a trough.
