More fake news???

but thankfully appears to be way overhyped so far.

Its a crap shoot with storms. It was a bad one. Amazing to me how fast it built up and how once it was wound up how far inland it went as a Hurricane. Turned out to be one for the record books.

For sure. Plus, it depends on the exact location that the energy center makes landfall. I think it's the right side of the front of the eyewall, if I remember. I recall watching Irma line up on Key West and thinking.... Bobcat is screwed. I watched the winds in real time. There was a 50+ mph difference between Marathon and Key West, and obviously we all know how it impacted the Keys. The right side took the brunt, so it was the middle keys that got the worst. In wind, rain and surge. Such a tiny deviation in the last hour or two before landfall changes everything.

Came home from basketball just after eight last night. The wind blew all day, and was still blowing about 15 to 20 mph after eight. One of my senior customers open her door yesterday by the lake and the wind took her door all the way to her front fender. Broke the hinges and bent the door and fender.

Mornin !:seeya:

Still a lot of Blue Tarp Roofs in the Keys...Their recovery should be a lot faster because of more Human resources

Workers from multiple areas can come in and stay cheap...Not so much in the Keys.

Plus, they won't end up on probation. :o

Did maintenance on the dealership yesterday, then a Mustang color tour. Not sure what today’s plans are yet. Almost to early to drink?

Finally got a boat ride in yesterday. Some were deterred cause near by tornado's. Others scared away by reports of floating debris from up stream flooding. Some only needed early morning rain to send them home crying. We decided it would take pouring rain with lightening to keep us on the trailer.

Turned out to be a fantastic, beautiful day.

I now have logged three hours on my new starboard engine.

Only in a pair of engines do a growl, sing, and scream all bring a smile to my face.
