Some people in my neighborhood dogs are missing, labs. While out saw a lab cross the road in front of me. About a mile from my house and no houses in this area. So I stopped. Dog came up to me like he was mine. No collar. Looks like one of the dogs in the missing flier. Load dog into my car and go home to phone the people. Few minutes latter they show up and its not their dog. I don't want to just drop the dog off with no collar. So go back to the place I find him and knock on doors of the nearest houses. Nobody's dog, except one house that didn't answer. Left them a note. Guess I have a lab until I find the owner. Going to animal control and see if he has a chip. My dogs have collars, name and address tags, they are with me nearly 24/7, when not they are locked in the house. Its annoying that people let their dogs roam free without collars just because its in the sticks. Also have people dump their dogs here because they think they'll find a home or something!

I used to keep collar/tags on both my dogs, but Gaitz(the Aussie ) used Dyce's (border collie) collar like a rag doll handle.
We can't keep it on her. Gaitz rips it off her.

Lost water again this morning. Phoned a new company and they came fast. Pump needed a new pressure switch and its back up and running.

Worked til five in Cudjoe Key...too late to go to the junkyard(B&B's they used to race SVL)....and to late to get gizzards....Got sunburned , wind burned and froze all on the same day....Spring Breakers are here....65 degrees and they are on the beach !

Also Beer thirty on Key West ...

I'm hoping it stays 50/60's here so I can open the pool up. A Taco Bell opened in the mall, so that's what is for dinner. Only tried them in the states, hope Canada is the same. I'll admit it I'm a fast food junky!

Just read an article that the U.S military has cancelled out of our local airshow. They've canceled U.S shows as well because of budget cuts. I go to the local show, gone almost every year since the late 70's. Going to miss the military jets, Blue Angels and Thunderbirds. I blame Obama! Abbotsford News - Airshow to go forward without U.S. planes

The U.S built a drone command center in Bellingham, WA to patrol the western border. Opened in time for the winter Olympics hosted in 2010 by Vancouver. Its about 20minutes from my house just across the border.
