Passed the smog test. 98 and newer cars they just plug into the diagnostic computer takes 2minutes. 98 and older they have to hook the car up to a dyno and put probes up the exhaust. Then run the car like its being driven. Takes about 10 minutes and it costs $23. My test is quicker and easier to do but costs $45. Flippin government punishing those with newer cars.

My 560sl would never pass a smog test.

15 years or older can get collector plates and become exempt from smog. 560SL should qualify. I'm thinking of doing the 944 on collector because the insurance would go down as well. Currently $1,100 and on collector about $200. A8 tire guy lives in the best area of Vancouver, lots of gated mansions. His house was about 6,000sq ft. pool and tennis court out back, guess about a $4million dollar place.
