Looks like we might get booze sales in grocery stores. But its liquor stores inside grocery stores, don't like that. http://www.abbynews.com/news/229728881.html I just want to get gas and beer all in one trip, like the states.

The US varies state to state. In some states there are state run liquor stores only, like Oregon (don't know if it's still that way) and others you can buy off the shelf in just about any store. Then there are cities and counties in states where you can never buy it period, or never on Sundays or only beer before noon on Sundays, etc

Never spent enough time in Oregon to buy beer to notice. Washington State, Nevada and Arizona can buy it in grocery stores. Assumed it was universal. Until the late 80's it was no Sunday sales here. Border town bars in Washington would make small fortunes on Sundays. Friends Mom owned a bar in point Roberts Washington and would bring in bands for Sunday. She was clearing $80K per week. When we got Sunday sales, she went bankrupt a year latter.

Hi Ho's!!! Don't get kids at my house for Halloween. Nephew will be out trick or treating. Brother decided to buy rims and winter tires for his Audi A8. So I get to pick them up this afternoon.

I don't get any kids trick-or-treating either.
Freaking cold here today!! Left the windows open last night and it's 72 in the house now.
I'm wearing one of my MEXICAN poncho's. (not a Sears poncho;))
I love these things.
I have three or four of them.
