Need a little help for HORBA

The membership of HORBA stand at 9,923 as of this morning. If there are any Serious members who have not joined yet, please give us a little help and join.

We would like to get over the 10,000 member mark before the Miami Boat Show.....so we just need a few more.

Membership is free and our only goals are 1.)To keep alive the history of the sport and 2.)To save as many of the old race boats as we can.

I'm not getting any error messages, but it the site is extremely slow right now.

It's taking several minutes to load the next page each time I complete a step.

Slow SLOWWWW here in Oklahoma at 2:35 PM.. Browser gives up after about 3 minutes after clicking on the register link.

All the links are fast except for the join link.

Okay....here is the latest from the web people.....

We just completed applying the patch to the forum, so everything's up to date & safe there. We checked thru everywhere else (PhotoPost, web site) and everything's clean. Again, there was a hack that I discovered & fixed on Monday; but everything's okay now.

As for slowness, it could be any of twenty different issues: their ISP, heavy internet traffic, hosting server overload, etc., etc. If you continue to get frequent complaints, let me know and I'll submit a trouble ticket. If it's intermittent, it's just the vagaries & complexities of the internet system.
