Actually, studies have shown that crimes, mod activity and gang warfare rise dramatically whenever prohibition type laws in place, then decline after. Mexico has their problems because of the demand and money to be made. if it were legal, if you could walk into 7/11 and buy some and pay tax on it, what market would the gang members be fighting for.
This is common sense. we are creating the black market, then spending money fighting it. It is ANTI-Capitalism. If people want the substances and they are not a drag on society, let them have their vake and tax it.
No crime fithing expenses, legal system expenses, penal system expenses and TAX REVENUE! Shoot, think of the added profits for legitimate businesses selling it.
and we all know, if every politician was required to do a group smoke-up frequently with other politicians, we'd actually see them get good things done for us. And they might even vote in a national munchie appeasement day.
