Why is it that people can not figure out that they are not taking care of customers the way they should!!!
Last month it was Comcast. They could not get some cable cards activated at one of my customers houses, blew off a couple appointments..... I had over 40 hours into trying to get some cable cards activated! When the last guy came I went out and disabled his truck and would not fix it tell he finished the job. I told him as soon as he walked in we had bad cards. 4 hours later he is still working on the problem and finally tried new cards and we were good to go.
Now we are dealing with Sony. They were to send us 4 computers for a customer that were custom engraved for the kids for the holidays. Well needless to say two of them showed up engraved, one not engraved and the other has never shown up! After a TON of calls to Sony their solution is for us to send back the one computer that has not been engraved (at our cost) and have it engraved, OR we can bring the computer to the local store and they will engrave it at, get this, OUR COST! Are these people serious? We tried to cancel the one computer that has not arrived and they said that we would have to ship back the computers that we have received at again OUR COST. They can not find the missing computer or tell us were the missing computer is. They say it shipped but when asked for a tracking number they refuse to give it. Some times I wonder how companies stay in business. I mean mistakes I can work with, I make them all the time, but to not make it right? WTF!!
