I used to be in the car and bike importing business in the late 80´s myself..
The car and bike tax is 60 % and hasn´t changed in 40 years. All others on top of it makes it go bigger but the true amount of taxes like pollution taxes sales taxes etc..at worst it was up to 132% of taxes for a BRAND new one ...a 6% new vehicle tax was added even.
Sales tax is 22% on everything except food.

Just who do you think is going to implement or uphold any laws Copenhagen comes up with. Finland? I haven't seen these bad ass Findlanders you speak of step up to the plate and fight for justice all around the world. I would take any third world country against the Finnns in a battle. A battle of words maybe. If you are going to continue to bash my country, I'd appreciate if you took that road to Moscow the next time you think of coming to the US. If thats the case no wonder there´s a negative picture of U.S. abroad despite the good you try to achieve.
The stuff I know is normal awareness overhere which you listed and I ain´t blind or deaf.
But denying or brushing off pure facts that you are still no1 pollutants per person only underlines the fact you´re also arrogant to others, and there´s no excuses in the form of standard of living and sofort if you have the cleanest cars and trucks like you say.

Next is the domestic as EPA will take boatbuilders on a chokehold.
What I know only Chris-Craft, Cigarette and Magnum has had a plant or licensed boatbuilders abroad to comply with the export market.

Yes my heart is in the country of yours as I think more of the grassroot worker loosing his standard of living as they are the ones (everywhere) who will get hit first and hardest.

China produces more air pollution then any three other countries. The only area where there is any competition is with CO2. This is not considered a pollutant by most science groups, but politically it is a current topic. (politics always trumps science). China produces 27.3% and the USA produces 24.8%. France has cleaned up most of it's CO2 pollution by installing many new nuclear power plants.
This, quite naturally, make France the leader in Nuclear waste.
