Chicks, Chips & Boats

morning - 1st of the day.

just had a furniture delivert at 7 am sat :boxing_smiley:

tough to find nicer people than Greenbay fans from Minnesota.

Morning gang! It rained most of the night so it's not too bad out there right now, but they are saying rain most of the weekend, which is just a nasty prelude to the lake effect snow they're calling for on Monday! :boxing_smiley:

 Say it aint so!! You know .... I know its normal for snow this time of year. I can remember leaving snow heading to KW and coming home to snow before ... but for some reason, Im just not ready for it this year. :ack2: I think its all these teaser days. 60 one day ... talkin about snow the next .... :leaving:

I talked to my son last night in MO and he said it was in the 30's with freezing rain. He was freezing his azz off. Beutiful down here today. Right now it's 77 with a high of low to mid 80's. Dave

You guys making me cold. I see sunshine and green out my window. Thinking about a boat ride. Its going to be mid 80's today.

BTW we could use some rain. I'm a little jealous. Really.

I'm never ready for it! :( I honestly need to find something that gets me excited about winter. Sleds and skiing isn't it. If we do that, nothing gets done to the boat, not to mention how expensive both sports are. It's bad enough how much money we spend when boating. I need the winter to build the funds (not you Fund Razor :seeya:) back up.

I honestly look forward to October. We boat so hard during the season, it's nice to get a break from it all. If we had more of a boating season, we wouldn't boat the way we do. Because it is so short, we boat all the time and it's nonstop from late May to mid-October.

I still say that boaters in the north boat twice as much as those who can boat all year. :03:

Morning, a little overcast and rain later this afternoon here in Annapolis MD.

Suppose to be 70 tomorrow..... Taking the Harley out tomorrow for a run to my buddies grave at the Veterans Cemetary to pay our yearly respects....

Then off somewhere to watch my Redskins stomp the Lions.... :26::03:

Ahhhh should I or should I not drop the boat ????:)Dave:sifone:

My dad was over here at the new house the other day and he was talking about a few of the trees in the back yard and he says "if your still here next year, we should ..... blah blah blah ..." My son looks at me and says "where you going to be next year?" :D I said "south would be good" :sifone:

I usually agree, but since my season was short this year I am not ready to done, I am however looking to save money for next summer!

I do agree we boat alot for the short season we have, I put 20 hrs on the boat in one month, i think that is decent for the time spent, some don't do 20 hrs all year!
