So .... went over to the old house to make sure nothings frozen yet. Dad was there this morning and shut the water off and emptied the drains so I went over tonight and poured some window washing fluid in the drains and toilets .. made sure the furnace was set real low.... anyway ... Im pullin out of the drive and this blue truck almost turned in but of course I was in the way so they turned the other way into the parking lot across from the house ... I was already in motion pulling out so I pulled in mom and dads driveway and they went past so I followed them but its dark and raining so I didnt get the license plate but I do know where they went and I wasnt following them to that neighborhood after dark ... However, I did call a friend and we are gonna go by there in HER vehicle .. not quite as noticeable as mine. This same truck has been spotted in my driveway twice before but both times the people that saw them said they looked like they were supposed to be there so they figured I was having something done or it was somebody I knew .... you now ... there in the middle of the day, parked in the middle of the driveway ... not trying to hide. The house is empty and its locked up but it would still be a pita if they tried to strip the place or something. Looks like I'll be talkin to a friend at the cop shop tomorrow after I get the plate number :boxing_smiley:

Keep an eye on your house. Theives are looking to strip houses of copper wiring and plumbing lines these days. Phucking losers.

Believe you me I know. I'm a title agent and one of my best customers has tons of rental properties. They have pretty much gotten out of one of the neighboring towns due to that problem. Houses have been stripped of all the normal theiving things along with carpet, toilets, light fixtures, cabinets and trim. They'd fix a place up, go back the next day and the stuff would be gone. Do it again and same thing ... People amaze me ...
