Taking today off so I can renew my tags and have a new drivers license made..went blonder for the picture....maybe it will soften the wrinkles!! Lol

Made salsa last night... I think it's too hot (left the seeds in the peppers when I made it). I can barely eat a few chips. Tony loves it. Might have to set aside a bowl for him and tone the rest down.

Here's my faithful hound today.

Pretty quiet with Queenie gone. A balmy 47 degrees on the threshold of Cape Cod. One drop off and one to go in the Boston market.

She said that the tax credit is up in November.

Tax credit ends Nov 31 (just saying not on Nov 1)

Underwritiers are really, really, really tough these days.

Sept 1st Fannie Mae mandated pulling 4506's for every borrower (4506= tax transcripts). Freddie will be following shortly I'm sure and most independent lenders already require them. Going to wipe out almost all 1099 money from borrowers.

Grandpa David- wow dude!

Morning all! Hope everyone had a good Labor Day weekend. We took the inflatable up the river and fished for a while. I out-fished the fisherman! I caught 3 rainbow trout to his one. AND I didn't reclaim my Fish Killer title. Typically this year my catches have swallowed the hook or done something else that ended their stinky little lives when I've caught them. But they all got released in fine fettle this time.

David, congrats on the little one coming. Been in your situation, it all works out. My daughter and her boyfriend were both in college when they found out she was pregnant. They were planning to wait until after college to get married. When they found out, he was going to leave college in the middle of the semester and go to work to take care of them. I told both of them that there was no reason to leave in the middle of the semester, that they both should get those credits since it was paid for. They finished that semester, Austin was born in January and they got married in October because they both wanted to have a wedding. Austin will be 3 in January, Matt works for an AAA Service Center and Heather has gone back to school. It will all work out. As for the insurance, we had the same situation there too. Heather was on her dad's insurance and they did NOT cover the pre-natal or delivery. They only covered her while she was still a full-time student and pregnancy wasn't part of the coverage.

Off to get ready to go to the big Nerve Conduction Study on the bum arm this morning. Woo hoo, I am SO looking forward to that!
