Barb that would be great, Ian can build just about anything, so I can't believe he has not made something for this yet.
last night Ian had to fix one of my mess's, barb, I think we have the same slide in duel fuel jen air range. We have the style where the exhaust fan is on the cooktop between the burners. I was frying onions Sunday night, one flipped into the fan intake compartment, so I lift the cover off to try to get it out, the cover was hot so I use a napkin to pick it up, well the napkin drops in the compartment. Of course I don't think much about it, just that when I finish cooking I will get it. Then I hear this rumbling sound that I think is coming outside the house, Ian said it's a plane, I say it sounds like something else, so I turn off the fan to hear better, then it stops, I put the fan back on and it starts again, then the ah ha moment hits, I tell Ian I think there is a napkin stuck in the oven fan, he's like WTF !!! now he has to crawl under the stove, he manages to get the napkin out but the flexible hose comes off and rips. So on Monday after work he goes to Home Depot gets the hose. He tells me this is not going to be easy, under the stove is the large fan and motor, gas line, regulator, huge plug and of course everything is on the back side so you can't get at it easy. The gas line is mounted so you can't pull the stove out, so everthing around it has to be disesmbelled. It took over an hour of him on his belly, scraping his hands and arms, trying to get the hose on and everything else disconnected and then re-connected, he was not happy. Sometimes I feel like am living an I love Lucy Episode

also as I am tying this I realize that the metal screen that fits in the compartment, must keep the stuff from getting sucked in, I don't think the screen is in properly since the last time I cleaned the stove, I am going to look at it right now, if this happens again, Ian will have my Blond Head:biggrinjester:
