Bimini Race tommorow should be fast......

I was at 5nm,

On the return Gino & Aquamania came by at almost the same time, one on either side. AM was looked like he was about to pass. No pictures, sorry.

On the way out Gino & US1 came by side by side, Gino passed right then but US1 broke.

My bad. Who was it then that was running not far behind Aquamania at the finish? Somebody was coming on strong and stopped dead. Maybe somebody turned around....?

As it was a rally start I (it was, yes?) would like to see when they all passed the start line.

I will say this, there is only 1 Bimini, but it looked like there was more than 1 way to get there and back :)

It's not the Daytona 499:26::biggrinjester:

LMAO!!!:sifone:

Wow Jay, great shots!!

+1

So was it at the 5 or 15...common man!

Julie

What she said!!!!! Just give us the facts.:26:

I liked Glassdave and Offshoredrilling's map from last year. So easy, a caveman could do it!!!!!:biggrinjester:

I was late to the start but saw Aquamania "haulin the mail" to the finish. US1 Freedom came in on one motor, couple of cats (Amsoil was one) then "Loose Cannon" and a couple more cats. I only saw one V-bottom finish and then went to lunch.

Water wasn't dead flat but like a choppy 1 ft day.

2nd boat was 43 NT cat but they looked more like spectators than racers. They ran hard until about 1/2 mile offshore and shut it off and were watching the action. 4 people on boat so they couldn't have been racing.

The Motion 430 GT was one of the sharpest looking boats there and it was a very early finisher, may even have been the 2nd boat after Aquamania. Sounded great and ran hard.

uh - so much for my credibility- it wasn’t Gino.
Rum & coke = altered reality

Yeah, that is good enough for a t shirt!

For the record, there were several whales.

regardless of the outcome, ya gotta give Gino major kudo's here... he shows up, he man's up for the race, and isn't afraid to run it hard if need be... he puts his money where his mouth is, on or off the course... breakdown or not, win or lose, Gino is the man.

There are a lot of guys that do this every week. Jim Lee, Bill Pyburn, and on and on, they are always running hard. Sometimes they break some times they last...they all deserve credit for the show each of them puts on.
