Was just down @ the Lake(erie) in Bay Village, probably 5-8's around shore area, but if you looked way out you could tell it was really rough farther out

I will have to get down to the marina this afternoon..I'm thinking the tide is going out again...

The Raisin was empty at 4:30pm near Clammy's. Couple boats were fubar'd.

One guy was backed in against the rocks. Oooops. The huge sportfisher near clamdiggers was over on its side like a sailboat. That can't be good. Normally in mud they sink evenly.

From Vermillion Ohio to Ripley NY tonight:

West gales to 45 knots diminishing to 40 knots. Rain showers and scattered thunderstorms. Waves 13 to 17 feet

NOAA is calling them "Very steep."

Yea i worked on the beach for years on the Gulf down here and we used to get some huge air on the rental skiis.

Some of the most fun i had was back in the late 80s windsurfing on the days that it was to rough to parasail in.The guys running the skiis could barely keep up with us windsurfers and we would all try to see who could out jump each other.God it was fun back then.Believe it or not we could outrun the skiis most of the time but that was back in the day of the old 550 Yamaha sitdowns.

I have access to the skiis anytime but the new heavy skiis will kick your azz these days. Just to much weight to them, they control you on the landings and will fling you where ever they choose.

Rode Waverunner's out the Jupiter Inlet with Hurricane Francis approaching. It was fun, waves were only 5-7's and clean. Riding parallel at the top the wave and rolled me over. It SUCKED and I got it running/upright again and then it dawned on me......NOBODY is out here and if I get hurt NOBODY is coming to help......WTF am I doing out here.......
