2014 Detroit River International Powerboat Championship

Second start was Class 5 with six boats, only five of them actually made the green flag start with RUFSTR having to pull in with an overheating issue due to a seaweed plugged strainer. They did make a start a couple laps down and finished all of their laps.

Interesting final finish. Wazzup II barely made a half lap before having to go in broken. Rufstr had come in and was 2 laps down. The Grinch, white Batboat, broke about half way through the race. 502 Batboat and 505 Cisco battled the entire race for first place.

A very tight race, Simmons out front and Saris on their outside hip, was the race for first in class 4. After several laps Saris had an issue and had to pull out, but until then they were side by side on several occasions.

Perdition came up from third after the race was over. Nice to see the two Phantom 34's side by side.
