Just got home from our trip to TC for the poker run. Matt and Kathy and everyone involved did a wonderful job! I believe there were 40 boats. It seemed as if this event had been going on for ten years when in fact it was the first one. Very organized and very friendly group of boaters. Thanks again Matt and we'll see you next year!

Here's a couple. I have a crappy camera with no zoom.

Couple more. Obviously this is not the most flashy bunch of boats, but a great time was had by all and the weather was perfect. Last shot is from our dinner/awards ceremony. A restaurant on top of a hotel overlooking Traverse Bay.

Thank you all for coming to the event!!!! Thanks to all of the participants and all of our sponsors! The marina is already booked for next year! It was a perfect day and the event seemed to be a great success with no major hick-ups! Now that we have the first one completed, we will be working on a great charity to pair up with and really crank it up for next year.

Airiel photos should be posted by the end of the day at http://www.davidbajema.com

I talked to the pilot this morning and he said it was the most beautiful and coolest thing he had ever seen from the air...boats contrasting on that water, white wakes, etc, etc, ...cant wait to see them! We couldn't have asked for more perfect weather! Awesome view from dinner! And David Cysco was the perfect guy for the entertainment with his steel drum and music - not sure if Jimmy Buffet himself could have pulled it off any better!...I know I wasn't the only one the next day with a sore voice from singing along!

We are getting a video together but will take some time to gather it all and edit it from all of the different cameras that were out there. The feedback from the spectators on shore has simply just been cool! Especially the sound of 39 boats all circling the bay and then taking off!!!

Thanks again and see you all next year!!!!

Who bought X factor? I just talked to the owner in NJ and he told me a guy from mi was coming out to look at it. Obviously he bought it.
