Here is the crease, I set the planks full width ,then struck a cut off line with the laser and ran the cut planks through molding the Cove side again and glued them into place (cove up for adhesive fill) and finished the plank run up the side. then sanding to a acceptable finish.

Artie I mix by weight the ampreg 22 is 100:28 gives around a hour in the Florida heat, I use a pump (in ice water) to a roller on large Lamination 3000 gram batches my brother and the Kid I trained would get it right to the gram and Mixed 100% before they poured into the pump's cone, This no matter how much I was yelling and yanking on the hose.

we tried volume and when I checked it on the scales (.5 gram resolution) we could never get it so I was happy, even on the dead level table.

When the project was moved a AC lamination room with heat was added.

Steve
When bagging foam on frames do you ever get leaks...
do you run around with a leak detector?
cheers

Yes I double tape and have electronic ears plus my brothers have been bagging with me since the 80's so I had experienced people in the crew.

Steve , you are so very right about the reputation that light boats seemed to have earned in the past and i recall one of the nickname's that i remember hearing alot and that was potato chip boats .

Steve, don't mix the cat and apache together, start a new thread for the cat so it's easier for everybody to follow.

who would look on page 20 something of an apache thread for a high tech cat build? I would start a new one anyway, I don't know why they would be against it, they can always merget the threads later if they are really against it.

Good point!

Steve, this is one incredible thread. The amount of info, and what I'm learning by reading is amazing.
Keep them together, separate them if you feel necessary, I don't care, just keep it coming. This is great that you are sharing all this. It really sheds a light on what it takes to design/build these boats.
It is much appreciated.

Thank You very much for the interest and your support in this thread.

I was told by the powers that be to keep everything here!

Steve, You are more than welcome to start a "Cat" thread. We were talking about the political threads!!!!!!!!!!!:sifone::rofl::cheers2::)

I would start a new one anyway, I don't know why they would be against it, they can always merget the threads later if they are really against it.

Thanks for your input Sean

Create a new thread and in the 1st post link this thread as well with why you were doing so (beginning of the story kind of starts here type thing).

I've said it, let it be done... LOL- good stuff. I wish I hadn't read it all twice already, today would be a good day to start-to-finish a thread like this! Maybe I will anyway..

Cheers,
MM
