which Apache is the most famous? Warpath?

It was the one with the most impact. All the one's after that were "another Apache" The first one is the one that got everyone's attention.

Yeah, Mr. Moore is definitly a legend with these and many other boats.

Back in 1996 I just got my 1st traveling sales job and I was off to Miami. I stopped by 188th st for the first time and went walking back through Bobby Moore's, through all the boats up on racks. I saw many Apaches stored outside there. I was amazed with the hardware. Mr. Moore was walking back from the dock and heard me and instead of kicking me out asked if he could help me and answer any questions. I did not know who he was so I asked questions and he answered. He hung with me for around 10 minutes and was really great. He told me this was his place and he is Bobby Moore. WOW! I thought. He was really nice!

that was my buddys boat 97 apache36 t 600 mercs... i remember the day it was delivered... almost got taken out by a freighter and tug at shooters on its delivery day!!!!!

I had it saved from one of the Offshore sites. If I remember right those pleasure 41 Apache Powerboats came with Mercruiser 575 HP and SSMIII Speedmasters standard. Great combination.

I started with 575's, but had Randy @ C&G bump them up to 650. Then (of course) the transmissions couldn't handle the power. So more cluth plates added.

I thought I read it was NOT a work/service boat but a pleasure boat right?

To each their own and not saying any of that in a bad way- I like it- but obviously different and was curious what they were looking for/from in the boat.

Actually, started with C&G 850's (rebuilt several times by Carolina Racing), and later upgraded to Merc 1000SC's (rebuilt by Tom Earhart).
