What a great read, I have only had the pleasure of seeing 1 Apache in person AWESOME boat it was parked at Cantu's upholstery shop in Seneca IL early spring 2006, I had just purchased a Sunsation288mcob and was pretty overwhelmed with the size since our last one was a 20 ft Crownline and felt like it would have fit in the bow of the Sunny, That is till I had to park the Sunny at Cantu's next to the Apache ours looked like a toy next to the Apache I don't know who's it is but she was sweet.

Now there's a great name for an Apache!

There is a 28 in Phoenix named Bad Medicine as well. Original owners name was Charlie Hamann I beleive. Used to have a set of big motors and ran close to 100mph from what I have been told.

I saw the boat in person last year during Barrett Jackson, unfortunately it has seen better days.

I had it saved fromone of the Offshore sites. If I remember right those pleasure 41 Apache Powerboats came with Mercruiser 575 HP and SSMIII Speedmasters standard. Great combination.
