Barb - can't believe you guys are going to miss the golf cart thing. That's one of my favorite events.
Maybe good news for me. I had my maintenance guy call and ask to rent my condo. I guess he's getting a divorce and wanted to stay in the same complex that he manages.

I love the golf cart run. I also know a weekend at Kelley's is $500+ dollars. I need to save that for Cambridge.
The golf cart run will always be here. This run is a one time thing.
I hope that means your place is rented...or sold!

Well there ya go. Walked in the house yesterday to find my wife and 19yo step daughter telling me to have a seat. *This can't be good. How much is this gonna cost* They proceed to inform me that she and her long time *couple years* boy friend *who we really like* are having a baby. They were already planning a September 2010 wedding. Does this make me a grandfather???

Well, well, well............Grandpa!!!! Congrats!!!! Welcome to Adam and Beth's world LOL...and mine last year.
We were planning my 22yo daughter's wedding last year when I got a call in May telling me I was going to be a grandmother. I have to be honest.....it really took me by surprise, big time. I bawled when I got off the phone. I worried what "others" would think with a wedding less than 3 months away that the bride, who had dated the future groom for almost 2.5 years, would be walking down the aisle pregant.
In the end, it really didn't matter what "others" thought. She didn't show (tood thing for her that her already purchased wedding gown still fit) but the happiness that our grandson brings to us.............more than I could ever tell you or Kim David. Grandchildren are everything they say they are...and more.
Embrace this exciting time in their lives and yours. It will be worth the ride. I promise. :kiss:
