Oil Banks Stock Market Auto Industry Government....and lots of people on both sides of the arguement helped create it and let it get out of control.

But we are hijacking this thread regarding the individual that thinks she is presidential material.
What political machine is so desperate that they can even consider her as the best choice out of 300,000,000 people?

Seems like our current administration, and congressional powers, keep talking about how wonderful the "North of the Border" socialism is and we should follow. I personally welcome his, Bob's, Airpackers input to try and figure out why the Obama/Clinton/Kennedy clans think it's so wonderful. Yet they won't move there????

Unfortunately it's called the far right (or far left). The exact opposite of the group that thought Obama was the best choice out of 300,000,000 possible candidates.....

Having said that, the more I hear Palin speak, the less enamored I am with her. This latest thing just doesn't sit right with me.

I don't think anyone can honestly disagree that she's very personable and that she definitely has an appeal. But the more we get to know her and the more we get to see behind the curtain, the more I'm seeing a blend of opportunism and kookiness. Bottom line- she asked for the job. The whole job. Not just the easy parts. And her claim that she's a lame duck and therefore ineffective is BS. She should be in there every day going at it like her life depends on it. Regardless of the circumstances, You pick a fight, you finish it.

Trouble is, we now elect people on style over substance. It started with the Nixon-JFK debate where Dick looked like death warmed over on TV. Bob Dole got trounced by Clinton because the women liked him and the guys could see themselves partying with him. And we've gone downhill since.

Palin is far and away a better speaker than either McCain or Bush. At least they both had enough sense not to speak after her. I don't think the Founding Fathers meant for the presdency to be based on who was the better orator. Like my dad said, Bush could say chit, if he had a mouthful of it. I don't blame Bush for our current problems, anymore than I blame Obama. I blame Obama for selling the American Public a pig in a poke.

That is the main problem with politics today. The judicial branch is now writing laws by the way they interpret it.
