Palin Announces Resignation

Yes, he definitely plans to run for president. He thinks so highly of himself....., he has been surrounded by sycophants who fawn over him, and he has bought into all their flattery. He thinks he is all ready to be president, doesn't need any more training (after all those weeks as Community Organizer...). He thinks he'll be able to relax a bit now, not be bothered with (a) Senator's minimal tasks, and now he can work on laying the groundwork for what he thinks will be his successful run for the Democratic nomination.

Of course, this is all laughable.

For Palin, this is a really smart move. It is better to have people question your competence than prove your incompetence beyond all doubt. This would be a bad move for a competent leader. But she isn’t such a leader.

She’s dumb as a rock and totally unqualified to be on the Wasilla school board. It takes competence to be a politician on the national stage. She didn’t have it. She wasn’t qualified to mop the national stage.

She can now camp in FOX News studios (or perhaps get her own show) and cash in on her celebrity without any ethics lawsuit. It’s going to be all Palin, all the time. SNL better hire Tina Fey on a permanent basis.

And yeah she’s probably deluded enough to think she still has a chance in 2012; living in a bubble will do that to someone so ambitious.

Anyway, she's a player in the Republican party, no doubt about it.

As far as running for President on the Republican ticket in 2012, I have an extremely hard time believing that is the reason for her resignation. Resigning from Governor to do that would get her crucified in the media in a race for the nomination. So, I don't think that's it. It's something else.

But we'll see, I care about as much what she does now that she resigned as I do who's gonna be at the Michael Jackson wake. If she resigned for any reason other than a family emergency, she should not have run for governor in the first place. A commitment is exactly that, I doubt very much I will resign from SOS to run for czar of Offshore Racing's new combined organization next year. If I do, b-t-h slap me.....
