Chicks, Chips & Boats

Speaking about content, what's up with Cuda, has anyone heard how he is doing, I have not noticed him posting.

This is all I've seen so far from him, copy and pasted from the other site

Today they started me on a regimine of steroilds
for my brain lesions. They must be working already. I fed the dogs.
walked across the street to talk to ny neighbor, went to the store, went to
the bank, all sans my cane. The only side effect's I've noticed is
irritablity, and upset stomach.

So far so good. Nobody told me getting off steroids would be like quitting heroin! I talked to my neighbor this evening. She is an ER nurse on the midnight shift at Deland Medical. She said she was put on predniszone once for something, and she said after being manic on the roids, she crashed back down. I'm glad to hear that, cause I was losing ground gained walking etc.

Non cancerous brain tumor, multiple brain lesions, possible Ms, but you know me, I can't complain

sorry to bring the Cuda thing up, I seem to miss a lot lately. Joe's a good guy but he does get a little wound up about certain people, he has defended me on occasion so I hope it works itself out.

So Paul; a pool, a changing room and multiple entrances, nice sounding crib. you know Chief and BBB will want pictures of this addition. I plan to bore you all with photos from my garden, as soon as we get some sun that is.

Wow lot's of activity today, well it's lunch time, now that I fretted the moring away with PM's and posts, it's time for a break and a lunch time walk, see ya later

Ratickle - thanks for the info. I don't seem to have any but the other condo catty corner to me on my floor has them. I think she had an exterminator come in and take care of it. Nonetheless - the buyer didn't want to look at mine just because of that :(

Fund - thanks for asking about my b-day. It was ok. I helped on the boat and had freezer pizza for dinner. I'm actually going to my parents tonight for my "birthday dinner". They're having my grandparents over too. I badgered Tony into giving me my present early. I'm now officially a gun owner. I don't know if you saw the other thread but he bought me a Remington 1100 20 GA shot gun. I managed to shoot clays the first time we had it out but knocked my chin pretty good the last time and quit after just a couple of rounds.

I caught the 1100 on the other thread. I called you RemingtonChick. That is pretty cool. Don't let the one knock on the chin discourage you. Do you have a shooting vest with an impact pad? That would help absorb some of the recoil so that you can shoot longer and be less sore later. Plus, it's a handy place for extra shells.
Have a happy extra birthday today. :D

I have to angle the gun a little to get a good sight picture. In order to do that, the top of the stock of the gun sticks out and when it kicked, it got me pretty good in the jaw. I don't think I'll need a pad. In general that gun doesn't really recoil that badly.

I shoot a pump 12ga, so that has a little more recoil behind it, plus I go 100 shells or more at a time, so I do use a vest with an impact pad when I do that. Makes a big difference.

I think Joe was influenced by the steroids and issues with the disease. We all did. Unfortunately, you still have to watch things on a public forum, can't really be way inconsistent.

We've always had the pool. Just that to change or go to the bathroom you had to go up the stairs and across the deck/sitting area or up the path and through the garage/entry area. This way you'll also be able to go into the downstairs family room through a bath changing area.

fund do you know something about everything:):)

Elizabeth, I must have missed the other thread, Happy Birthday :p:bday2:I guess you got a gun for your birthday wow, be careful you don't get hurt again, it would be awful to knock your teeth out or break your jaw before the big day. If I may ask why a gun??? i prefer diamonds, which of course I never get, come to think of it can't remember the last time I even got a gift, I had the bad timing to be born at the end of September which is at the end of our boating season so we are usually broke and just received our largest credit card bill.

It's nice to know things will be convenient for us when we come for the SOS pool party :cheers2::coolgleamA:

I've wanted to learn how to shoot trap/skeet or whatever the heck it's called where they fling the clay disk in the air. I thought it looked like a lot of fun. And it is once you can hit something. I tried shooting Tony's guns and while I could hit still targets I couldn't hit moving ones. Plus it had a little too much kick for me in the shoulder to be comfortable. tony is really into guns anymore and I think he wants to try to coax me into his hobby :D And I do like diamonds... I keep asking for diamond earings but no luck yet!

I buy the "gun club" target loads. They make the most wonderful powder.
It is so much fun to just powder a clay. Breaking them is nowhere near as fun as making them disintegrate. :D
