Chicks, Chips & Boats

GM, well it's almost lunch time, Barb do you know the guy that has the thread on refurbing the big 46" Cig, he also had the thread on the big waves on Lake Erie this past weekend. Where in OH is he from, I was trying to figure out if I met him at any of the LEOPA events. I knew the waves would be wicked, sure was glad we decided not to take the boat to the bay for the LEOPA Tadsen Tea Party.

Anyone buy their summer annuals yet, just bought about 10 flats at the farmers market early this morning. By this weekend I will be in full overdrive planting everything. Funny thing happened to me on Tuesday night, it was dusk and I had just planted a few shrubs in the seawall garden. The wall is made of large rocks and rises about 5’ up from the water. I was using a bucket of lake water on the plants, and was straddling, crawling, and climbing up and down the rocks. About 10 min. after thinking how awful it would be to fall in, I DID, I rolled down over the rocks and landed under the water on my side. Ian was not home, it was almost dark and no one was around, so I was lucky I did not knock my self out; I am a little bruised and scraped but still got to finish planting the last bush.

It is so windy today, it must be blowing 30-40 MPH, last night around 3 AM we had the loudest thunder, it sounded like a sonic bomb, louder than I have ever heard, it only was about 3 large booms, but then the lightening went on for almost an hour and it was extremely bright. Is it just me or does it seem like the wind has been strong for the last several years, it seems like every poker run last summer had huge waves.

Hey Donna! Windy here today too, but the rain has moved out and it's sunny and getting warmer!!!! Yeah.

That's Jeremy who bought American Musle II last summer. He previously owned a 42' Tiger that was splashed with bright colors of yellow, purple, blue, etc. He docks near Coastal Marine.

We did not see Jeremy pull into the Casino last summer when we were there...he spends a lot of time at PIB. He's a great guy. Young guy in his late 20's early 30's.

Oh my God. That sounds bad. It IS a good thing that you didn't knock yourself out. Man.... two days later, if you are not sore... you are in better shape than me. Wait... you are in better shape than me. Never mind.
Hope that you are ok. My Mom fell in her apartment and hit her head about a month ago, she hit it on a table and was knocked out. She was hurt pretty bad. She has recovered ok, thankfully. She already had a cognitive deficit, but that didn't do her any favors. Wear a helmet next time you go rock climbing. Or, visualize yourself NOT falling. :)

LOL, that would be funny, I could garden wearing my bike helmet:biggrinjester: In the summer I get in the lake with the bucket to water but I still climb up on some of the rocks. When my neighbors go by in their boats, they laugh and tell me no matter how much I water the rocks they will not get any bigger:ack2:. I went to something fun tonight, it was called cocktails and containers. It was at a really nice garden center. The tickets were $10.00 and that included drinks and appetizers. They had this large area set up with huge barrels of soil and fertilizers, you could bring your own pot or buy one of theirs. They helped you select flowers and plants to design an arrangement, and you also were given a 10% discount, there must have been close to 150 people there. I did not make anything, I just bought stuff to take home, and of course enjoyed the wine.

Morning. Donna, glad your ok. Cringed when John read your post to me. Took Britt car shopping yesterday. She is now the proud owner (with buyers remorse) of a 99 Grand Prix! Her first car!
