I really dont have a dog in the fight, and Sean Stinson dont take this personal, your qoute was just the first i found, but I really dont know how bringing up the past is doing anything for this Thread, he's admitted he did wrong, he's admitted he learned, he made it right, and he's apologized to the buyer, and OSO... the buyer is now happy, and he looked like a fool already for 4 months..... if any of you have never made mistakes, or just plain stupid choices then call it karma, or ask how the shoe wears, but i would doubt there is a one of us including me in here who hasnt regreted making a bad choice or two.... atleast in Rob's case it was made right

Alright I will retract number 3 as a low blow.....I apologise....BUT my question still stands what does a chick ex or otherwise have to do with an unpaid bill on a boat?????

LOL! I agree, but you should know by now you are dealing with a person who has no respect or loyalty to friends, women or even his own mother.:banghead:

Good luck with the attorney today. If you call Roscoe down at the Cabbarras County Sherriff, they can give you a Civil assist on getting the boat back. The Cabarrass County Sheriff's are very familiar with going to that address over the past 10 years for "issues".
Also ask your attorney about a Replevin Action.

If I understand this correctly, he broke up with his girlfriend. His now ex is friends with the engine guy's gf. Ex is ****ed off, complains to engine guy's gf, gf is going to "help out" and tells engine guy to try to nail him somehow? Engine guy was going to do it as a favor but since gf and Ex want him screwed, he sends a bill? Or have I totally missed something?

Seems like everyone has had dealings with that guy; Batgirl sent him some work including dropping an engine in one of my cars and all I had to show for it was an improperly installed starter; some broken engine mounts and a BS bill and the ex got a BS restraining order for all her troubles! He needs to give back the boat and the engine; he has no legal rights to that boat and you cannot legally charge storage or file a mechanics lien without a written contract; sounds like he is SOL and he just did his friend like he did his ex...he may end up with a BS restraining order when he shows up to get the boat!

I figured this was started over some girl's nastiness when I saw the first post. Seemed pretty clear to me and couldn't figure out why some of the guys weren't getting it reasoning.
