Steve has been a good friend to me in the past. Things were said that were outrageous. He did the work and Ill pay him for it.
I just wasnt happy with the way things were handled.
Apparently- after re-reading messages this was a 11k job, he is going to put the motor in for 2k, and put all the ancillary **** on for 1600.
After having a delightful conversation with them this afternoon, this is where we are. He does good work, I was not happy with how it was handled.
If I personally had the money to throw away I would, but I dont. He knew that and I was upset that he billed me for that. I was under the impression that it would be done together.
I retract any negative comments that I said about him, and I personally know nothing of his financial abilities or anything of that nature.
Enough is enough and Ill just have to pay and get my ****.

So let me get this straight.....you blew a gasket because your ex broad got her panties in a twist and then became friends with your buddies broad who twisted them some more and in turn cried to your pal who didn't want to hear it and twisted yours for twisting his......now then the 11k job plus the 5k storage bill for all the panties that were twisted is now 2k plus 1600 so in essence your 16k bill is now 3600 and your one big happy family again.....WOW:willy_nilly::willy_nilly:

Personally I think you are all crazy!!! If you do a job for someone , no matter what the drama , you should be paid for your work. Sounds like the ex and the "Rob" have some serious issues. Let it go! We are about the boats!!!!
