Lake Cumberland poker run, 2007. Running at night. Happened hours apart, not related other than location. That's one of the few spots on the main lake where you cant just go by the treeline as the edge of the lake. It is all under water at normal level.

I had friends at Cumberland for that PR in 2007. I think what they heard was they were both running off their GPS's at night and that area is normally under water, but since the lake was down some 60 feet, it wasn't.

Waht's the story with that? Looks like they were anchored or beached and the tide went down. No damage to the boats and no marks on the soil

Donzi was running towards CB on lake cumberland about 10pm ran up on Ramsey point what we now call "donzi point" at prob about 45mph, saw the shore right before it happened and braced and rode it out, driver was ok, just a bit shakin up. the baja ran up a couple hours after the donzi not sure about the story on it, heard he might have been going off gps. Took us a few hours Sunday morn to get the donzi off raised each side and put logs underneath then would pull it down about 5 ft at a time until we got it in the water, started up and got it back to CB no leaks, or drive probs, scuffed up the bottom a bit, both boats and drivers were very lucky that weekend. Happened again 2-3 times this last summer n the same spot, have to be careful on cumberland driving at night, cant go off the tree line with the low lake levels ecspecially in that spot

I have to wonder, when they put 'extractor' on the side, if they realized they were going to be extracted??????

Well, here's another to add to the list!

ohhh s**t. how did that happen? it seems to have slided all the way off the trailer:S i think the boat was one of nortech's newest right?

maybe the truck driver entered a drag race and started sooo fast that the boat just stayed behind:leaving::(

i dont even wanna guess on how much money he has there on damaged props and drives... probably my income for the rest of my life

Per the owner, the cable snapped. Props and skegs seem to have taken the brunt of the impact. Boat is already at Nor-Tech being evaluated.
