Waht's the story with that? Looks like they were anchored or beached and the tide went down. No damage to the boats and no marks on the soil

Drive on the Baja doesn't look too healthy, and they both still have the light poles up. I'm sure it's an interesting story.

guy was prob following the baja, then boom.......

"We'll just follow that big'ol Baja...I know he's not going to wreck his boat...." :ack2:

And by the way, if those things did run aground at enough speed to get them that far up the shore....They fared VERY well!!

Lake Cumberland poker run, 2007. Running at night. Happened hours apart, not related other than location. That's one of the few spots on the main lake where you cant just go by the treeline as the edge of the lake. It is all under water at normal level.

Gladhe8er next time you are in LG stop and tank with Shane about the wreck. He was driving  I believe it stuffed and hit the bottom about 30' down

Yes, I believe Shane was driving. I'll see him out on the trails this season. The owner/throttleman, Nicky Cutro is still my mechanic. All three of our boats are at his shops right now in Lake George. I went to see the boat right after it came back from Key West after stuffing. It was a definitely a sad day because we knew it would never run competitively again.

Here's a few from a 40' Baja that threw it's passengers and headed for the docks unmanned at LOTO in 07'

No lanyards comments?!

Hopefully nobody was on the boat in the dock....

Nope there weren't any lanyards...it was a week before the Shootout in 07... There were four people in the boat who were ejected when it hit a big cruiser wake.... boat travelled about a half a mile at around 70mph until it hit the shore and went through the docks...other than the former occupants no one on shore were injured...
