Looks like Lost Peninsula or maybe Mienke's ...? Saw some really bad conditions develop out there REAL FAST and yes, it definately teaches you to respect the lake. I remember when you saw the burn-off torches on top of the Sun refinery east of Toledo, that meant you were almost home.

We used to boat on the Maumee River in Toledo on my uncle's 24' Owens cruiser. By chance, they were built in Baltimore, near where I live now. Those were the days - That boat was as big as an ocean liner to me, and put the love of boating in my blood. Wish I had some pictures of those days.
