What's your realistic IDEAL high speed?

more fast is more fun--BUT-- reaction time for me in the waters where I boat would make an 80 MPH top speed just fine.

Early 70's. (I mean 1970's) low 60's was great. 80's. mid 70's was awsome. in the 90's 80+MPH. I was in heaven. Turn of the century.. had to have 90+. Now.. I would love to hit the 100 mark but I can't even get to 90, New boat ?? may be. in 2010 100MPH After I turn 60. A big azz cruiser with tripple yenmars and a nice 70. top, 60 at cruising speed.

So.

:) It's all relative.

But of course, I have a 4'x8' plywod with a single Merc, 1050 that will go over 200. It's my bucket list. Safety? :biggrinjester:

For our 292, I would love to break 90 mph and have an efficient 60 mph cruise turning 5-blade props.:sifone: I think this hull can safely handle 90 mph on reasonable water. Already have full hydraulic steering and K-Planes...:) Just need more disposable income!

I would like to break the century mark myself. We are in the 92-94 range now so I don't think it is out of the question. I just need some shorties and a new set of wheals.

Honestly HP I am currently not a boat owner so if I could run any speed on the water I would be happy... Anything is faster than this intertube I'm roll'n. I would be very happy with 90-100.. that's still fast. I've only been up to 150 and my balls were in my throat, If ya ask me anything over 100 is a little on the dangerous side in an open canopy.

I was wondering what that lump in your throat was.:biggrinjester:

120 all day long cruise....200+ top.:sifone:

X, you couldn't have slid a peice of paper in my crack I was so tense:ack2:...even though I couldn't have been in better hands. I have looked all over for that video.. I geuss i lost it.

been 160+ , I like the 100-120 cruise and 160-170 high speed would be enough unless I was in a canopy race boat with helicopter, safety crew

Jims got alot of the work done Dave and I are going to get to work with him this week. Looking real nice.:)

I know the last time I saw it it was still a little rough and you guys were focused mainly on the power and redoing the cockpit for the shootout. I can't wait to see it now.. That old Skater couldn't be in better hands..:sifone:

The 39' TG w/700's runs 100+. Perfect Vee.

The 388 Skater(like GatorOne's) or 40' MTI w/1075's about 150. Perfect Cat.
