hhhmmmm, i thought it was the other way around?

well, I should of phrased it we want there to be more boats than trophies, I guess others might not want that. Trophies don't mean much if everybody gets one.

Abu Dhabi was supposed to bring in a new boat but they opted to get the existing C1 boat team (giorgi offshore).

They are still shy a couple boats I think.

Victory ran 3 boats most of the season. Maritimo ran two until they wrecked the 12 boat and sold it to Welmax. Maritimo (among others) is undergoing canopy upgrades in Dubai right now. There are some new euro C1 teams, so it will be interesting to see who shows up in Brazil for the opener.

Pål Virik Nilsen (Throttle Maritimo) just confirmed they will not participate in the 2010 season. They might come to kw this year...

Spirit of Saudi will not happen. The second Welmax boat will be driven in Rio by Marit Strømøy (Norway, Throttle) and Girgio Manuzzi (Italy, Driver). Just had a long chat with Marit and she is really looking forward to the event in Brazil...
