What a phucking day. Need some of those prayers guys.

DoubleDown - thank you for posting that.
I copied what you wrote and sent it to my folks. They are pretty shook up, and I hope that your words as a professional are a bit calming to them, it has helped with me.

Thanks to the rest of you for the concern. It's nice to realize just how many friends, and how many people are out there for you if you need them. I was somewhat floored by this last night, and you all helped me take a bit of the worry off. Thanks. Hopefully I don't need that sort of thing again of this topic, or for that matter, any other (or any of you).

If you or your family have any questions in the weeks ahead, just PM me and I will try and answer them for you...take care

Tim - Sorry to hear about your dad, I just had a close relative go through the same situation now 6 mos later he is back to perfect. Good Luck.

By the way I'm back out here in PHX, and if you need a night to unwind I buying at the Yardhouse.:cheers2:

Thanks.
I'm likely going to take you up on that in the coming months.

Felt like I needed to give you all an update.

Dad had the "Da Vinci" procedure about two weeks ago (full removal of the prostate, as I understand it). He's been uncomfortable for the past two weeks, and having to deal with a catheter.
He had his meeting yesterday with his surgeon, and they had taken 2000 slides of his prostate to analyze. ABSOLUTELY NO CANCER!!
They had actually gotten all the cancer in the Biop. Doctor told him he was only one of 5% that this happens to. He seemed in much better spirits just getting the news.
He's got a few weeks to go before he's back to full health, but I could tell he's doing much better.

Thanks everyone for the prayers and well-wishes.:)

Great news Tim! I am sure it has been difficult for you and your family the past few months...Da Vinci is not a procedure but simply the type/name of the robot used in your dad's surgery during his prostatectomy.

Best wishes to your Dad for a rapid recovery!

Tim, buddy, you better remeber this week, because its your week bud!

Between this and the new job... All I can say is KICK ASS, brother!

Thanks bud.

And thanks everyone for the prayers. My Dad is a great guy, and I have so much respect for him. Very private man, and also very Catholic. I know he appreciates everyone's prayers, I told him that I shared this with my friends.
Thank you.

It's been a good week, I'm just bored as hell, and waiting to get a start date at the new gig.:cheers2:
