Well, I did it. I'm now a desert rat.

We had the fireplace going last night. It was about 65. And the fireplace is outside. Also, wanted to make sure to burn the racoon piss out of it.

It's done!
Closed today.
Should have the keys Friday after all the county recording is done.
Whew!

I figured you'd do the Randy Quaid "Vacation" scene, Where you would hand me the half empty warm one while getting yourself a new one!:sifone:

I have never met either of you, but dought seriously you guys would have a WARM half empty beer in your hand. Who lets their beer get warm any way? :cheers2:

Getting moved in.

Wouldn't trade ya anything for this.
This is it.
Final destination.
It would take one helluva lot to ever make me move again.
And even then it would take a lot of arguing.
I've moved over thirty times in my life, and this is the first time I've moved into a place and didn't feel like "it's the place I'm staying for now".
I knew every other place was just a stop on the journey, even as I was moving in.
Had a friend help me move half my garage out here this morning... He's lived out here for over 20 yrs (he's actually older than my Dad), and once he got all the way up here, even he couldn't believe the layout and the land.
I really am fortunate and thankful.
Now I just need to get Sean out here to help me get the boat in the garage for the first time. The driveway is a little tricky. It requires 4x4 drive just to get out of the driveway.

We still need pics of the garage(inside):toetap05:

Let me get it organized, and get the boat in there.
I'm already thinking I need to plumb the whole garage for "shop air".
There is already plenty of lighting, and outlets everywhere.
Two seperate 220 outlets.

I already have the beer fridge, and the meat locker freezer in there.

Still working out my plan on installing the "dumb-waiter" in the garage to go up to the kitchen.
I'll actually be able to fit both my Avalanche, the Wife's H3, and the boat and still have space to work and move around.
16x8 double door, 10x8 single door, and 8' of wall inbetween them.
Entire garage is 46x26.
10 yrs ago I was living in a single-wide trailer for a little while that could fit three of just in the garage.
When you coming out Bobcat?
