Warpath!

After the race ....so how much personal effects on board?. Gas weights about 7.5 lbs per gallon running from the mid tanks is ideal.

that was on a 3 point lifting sling, crane had a scale believe it or not on a new travel lift I was told 8000 with about same amount of fuel best way is to weigh boat & trailer at a weigh station then just the trailer do the math

In my opinion the boat needs more tab not fuel unless you are running really rough water 4 tO 5.:p

Lucy what we did was add 250lbs in the nose, made a big difference even in a slight chop, your right, tabs kept nose down but those barn doors in back of the boat scrubbed off the mph even with slight positive tab. It also cured that Apache lope which we had at below 70 mph Thanks for all your input it is appricated

This particular 41 in rough water is not a wave crusher.... it is a very light boat! enjoy it and be carefull, !;):driving:

When you race anything you often take things to their limits and its very difficult to know precisely where those limits are. Even in the highest classes of racing parts fail. With a light layup you're compromising strengh for speed. Just how much it was compromised in Chiro. As I was implying before for all we know, only the deck was made much lighter but the bottom wasnt. I think Bobby Sascentti would be the person to ask,.
