Very impresive, the Apaches racing at Cowes including the Apache based 41 Pantera. It placed second overall and was only beat by a much larger 4 engine boat. Unquestionably supports the reputation of the strength, durabilty and unmatched rough water performace of these boats. Most of these racers could have chosen to race anything else, including, much newer designs. Few things are timeless. Apache's are one of them.

Next week I will shoot some sots from the race in AC where I am sure there will be a number of Apaches running around so until then may your seas always be big and head on!!!!!

Water was to big even for a Apache OPA did the right thing by calling off the race Sorry Doc this was the one we really wanted

It was rough alright... I finally got a ride on SC Redhot. We went out at 5pm yesterday, left Trump went through the AC Inlet in super rough water 10ft+ waves and ran down the coast to almost margate, turned around and came back. We went out with a 46' cigarette, a 46' outerlimits, and a 38 Donzi ZRC. Boy was that some ride and Stella ran that 41' Apache perfect! Here are a couple photos, I didn't take any once we hit the ocean, I had to hang on then!

I was hoping to see your boat at Trump this weekend! We had a lot of Apaches there: 1. Chiro One 2. the first 47 3. Firewater 4. SC RedHot 5. All white 41 with purple interior.

Are you done running your boat for the year? I'll be down the shore the next few weekends, but not sure if we'll take out the top gun or not.

SC Redhot, Island Runner, Warpaint, and Shaka (after the bow was cut out and it was repainted down in Key West)...Each ride completely different and fun in their own right.
