Well, I think we can agree on a lot of that. I am just convinced if you want to win, you'll need to come to center and win the "independents" who decided the last election. Too many people who want to have the gov't take care of them have to be offset on voting day.

That just goes to support my argument more. He wasn't president to win friends. Poor presidents are bad presidents. The reason the US Constitution worked for so long is because it was written by the haves, not the have nots. If laws are written by the have nots, you get at least socialism, if not communism. Communism is just socialism at the point of a gun.

So how many of you keep track of the ACTUAL "stimulus" spending? Cuz when you go around spouting off about $800Billion being wasted, you make yourself look pretty ignorant seeing as how less than $100B has ACTUALLY been doled out. On one hand, kind of explains why the economy hasn't improved...because of the (lack of) stimulus. OTOH, I like the idea that these nimrods in DC are dragging their feet with the spending. It's just chump change in the end, but that's $700Billion in national debt that we haven't issued (yet).

at $75.00 per barrel.So we all contributed to spending $3 Billion on a program to save $350 million.How good a deal was that ? I'm sure your mopes in DC will do a great job on the OBAMA CARE solution also

Last year I counted 31 Conservatives in the House Led By Bachmann and One in the Senate that was Demint. The rest something much less..
