Wake Surfing

If this is not the right section for this, I have no problem with the mods moving it. Just wondering if anybody on the board is into it? We do it all the time, although not with a wake surf board, but rather just a 6'3 short board. After watching videos of it on youtube, it really makes me want an inboard boat!

Here's some pics from the other day!

If you get a slow enough boat and a large enough board you can let go of the tow roap and surf tell your legs fall off. If you get a real wake board they are a lot of fun.

Nice! I've done it a few times, although I prefer a wake board! Here's a pretty heavy day of me at the Jersey shore.:03:

Here's Slater at the end of this vid;

It is pretty damn fun! If you have an actual wakeboard boat and a wakesurf board then you can also let go of the ski rope. I tried it a couple times with the short board, and tried to pump into the wake, but it just doesn't work even with 9 people sitting on the back of the boat.

I just don't think I can cross water that slowly and still call it "fun" :)

My buddy on Lake joe had some real fancy Nautique wakeboard boat he just got and he bought one of those wake surf boards.

It took me like 5 tries before I could get up on it (I am no surfer or snowboard/skateboard guru by any means).

After I got up it took me 2 tries to do it with no rope.

It is actually really fun, if you get a long enough extendable grab hook you can even pass the guy surfing a beer in a bag......and we did!

17km/hr top speed.......lol.

It is of great comfort that Canadians take their beer so seriously! :cheers2:
