I read in a journal that 80% of Doctors admitted to ordering extra tests at one time or another to cover their butts with the liability insurance people.

Which is better than admitting that they actually did is so they can bill the insurance company more money...

We have become a nation of buck-passers. Even normal, responsible guys like us sit around and blame others rather than taking responsibility for the stuff we're not doing or doing that contributes to this mess.

How many "concerned" people have sent a letter to their representative or senators this year? How many have contributed to a PAC to promote an agenda that they believe in? Heck, how many vote each year?

Here's another one, how may people compain about illegal immigration and then patronize establishments that clearly employ undocumented employees or worse yet, how many actually higher illegals to work for them? Either in their businesses or in their home (mowing lawns, cleaning ladies, digging small trenches that are too much trouble to bring the trenching machine out for, etc.)...

Talk about free markets and supply and demand... Does anyone think that illlegals would be here if there wasn't work for them and money for them? Cut the demand and the supply chain goes away.

Do lawsuits the same way they are done in Britain (I think). If you bring the lawsuit and lose, you pay all the expenses. Everything, period, from the lawyers to the time off that you take from work for the lawsuit, to the court costs. Everything, and you must be able to pay if you lose, might make someone think before they bring these frivolous suits.

Some form of documented ethics training should be mandatory for everyone running for public office.
Some of you guys are ripping on lawyers, I'd rip on MBA's.
