Here's all I can think about these last few days as I watch this guy making smart, quick moves on the economy, foreign policy and reversing some of Bush's stupid sh!t:

I see Obama and Biden and I feel confident that they can lead us, and all I can think about is how freaking happy and relieved I am that tired old McMaverick isn't tottering around up on that stage with a clueless, dizzy bimbo wondering where the mooseburgers are.

By all means, stick your heads further in the sand- delete the posts of those you deem are 'causing trouble around here' i.e.- saying things you don't want to hear.

I can't believe how much stupid crap you guys have managed to cram into one thread. You seem to like these echo chambers. Are you all brain dead?

Here's all I can think about these last few days as I watch this guy making smart, quick moves on the economy, foreign policy and reversing some of Bush's stupid sh!t:

Jay, so far I've seen nothing.

Not one move to improve the economy or free up credit so people can keep their houses from repo or buy anything new.

Not one item to prop up the market by addressing the root cause of the collapse. Unemployment and repossions are accelerating because all of the wait and see companies have seen nothing.

Signing an executive order to close Gitmo in a year? No improvement or decline there.

Telling Congress to get a Trillion $ to give away bill on his desk? He's been saying that for months and still nothing. If you can't lead your party with majorities in both houses, what can you accomplish? It will take time for all of these power idiots who got him elected to realise he is not a puppet and just went along with them to get elected and now he is the power. Pelosi, Kennedy, Clinton? Now they're the puppets.

I'm pleased he has not done any mass giveaway programs yet, but extremely disappointed he has not moved decisively to get things going. So far it's been nothing but icing, no cake. I'm still waiting, and hoping. Failure by the new President accomplishes nothing for any of us.

So, what smart, quick moves are you refering too? Maybe I missed some.

I thought this was a modest accomlishment.... It's a pay "freeze" which should have been a pay cut IMHO but at least he stepped in...
