When I was a kid, I asked my mom about puttin my toy boat int eh pool. She said yes and went inside the house. Boy was she screaming when she saw my prahm in the pool banging against the tile.

Didn't Mythbusters do an episode where they tried to cut a boat in half on a channel marker (that other famous photo) and claim they couldn't replicate it ("busted")? I'm a little fuzzy, but I thought they used some big nasty ol' resin bucket... I think it's kinda funny that this photo also has a tree stuck half way up the deck of the boat. :26:

I'm not sure who took this picture, but It's a great shot! Bad day for the race team!! Not long after this pic, the bottom peeled off of the boat and they had to beach it so it didn't sink. Look at the cracks forming on the bottom. Ocean City MD-2007???

This one? It's a true story. It happened less than 10 miles from where I live! I'm not sure....but there may have been some alcohol involved. :cool:

Yeah, I actually saw this in person, I think the problem Mythbusters had was no beak :26::biggrinjester:

Makes me want another Cigarette. Isn't it ironic, you buy a Cigarette to attract chicks, they get hammered, you hammer them, then you're all smoking cigarette.

Maybe I'm just bored.

Oh yah, I didn't think it was phony (I think the Mythbusters show is phony, entertaining as all get out, but totally BS)... I agree, the boat they used was the wrong layup and the condition they were in was the wrong "lay out..."

Anyone see that episode or have a link to it?
